Job Description

CES/American is currently seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager in our Port Charlotte office.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility will include the permitting and design of roadways, water, sewer systems, drainage systems, pump stations, residential and commercial land development and municipal projects. The position requires excellent communication skills. The candidate must be able to work independently, managing multiple engineering projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable resolving issues and working with people.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • PE License in the state of Florida
  • 5 or more years of project management experience
  • Experience with FDOT, ICPR, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Civil 3D, local regulatory agency requirements, and permitting
