Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is unsure if Sunday night’s loss to the Lions was his last game as a Packer or the last game of his NFL career.

Rodgers said he would take some time to “get the emotion out of it” before saying what his future holds. But Rodgers also said he expects to make his decision soon enough so the Packers know how to plan for 2023.

“I’m not going to take them hostage. We are still in January here. Mars is free agency,” Rodgers said.

When asked if he could play for another team, Rodgers replied, “I don’t know. I don’t like to say never.

Rodgers acknowledged it would be a tough call.

“At some point the carousel stops and it’s time to get off, and I think you kind of know when that is,” Rodgers said. “And that’s what you have to consider. It’s time? Also, what does the organization do? That’s part of it too. But the competitive fire will always be there. I don’t think it will ever go away. Sometimes it gets transferred to other things that might never fill that big void. But like I said, I feel good about what I’ve achieved in this league and I wouldn’t regret leaving.
