Many “Real Housewives” OGs will star in the next episode of Peacock’s “Ultimate Girls Trip” spin-off series.
The streaming service announced the cast for season 4 on Monday and it includes Caroline Manzo of “New Jersey”, Alex McCord of “New York City”, Eva Marcille and Phaedra Parks of “Atlanta”, Brandi Glanville and Camille Grammer of ” Beverly Hills” and Vicki Gunvalson and Gretchen Rossi of “Orange County”.
Interestingly enough, the group includes several stars who took part in season 2 of the reality show – including Marcille, 38, Parks, 49, Glanville, 50 and Gunvalson, 60 – who filmed at the Bluestone Manor estate by Dorinda Medley in the fall of 2021.
This time, the women will travel to Marrakech, Morocco, site of an iconic “RHONY” journey that aired in 2011 season 4.
“What is it, is it a buffalo coming down the stairs?” Well done tweeted, prompting a popular line uttered by Luann de Lesseps in reference to McCord. “No, this is the official cast of #RHUGT 4 and they’re heading to Marrakech!”
Although there is excitement for the return of the “RHUGT” stars, fans are apparently more motivated to catch up with Manzo, 61, McCord, 49, Grammer, 54, and Rossi, 44, who have made less frequent appearances on reality TV over the years.
“CAROLINE MANZO RETURNS,” one person tweeted.
Manzo left “RHONJ” after 2013 season 5 and eventually helmed his own series, “Manzo’d with Children,” which aired for three seasons from 2014 to 2016.
Another fan added, “Thank you @peacock for bringing together some of the BEST Housewives and Caroline Manzo!”
Many others are thrilled with McCord’s return. After leaving ‘RHONY’ in 2011, she and husband Simon van Kempen moved to her native Australia with their two sons.
For the past decade-plus, “New York City” fans have loudly voiced a desire for a McCord update via social media. Even a handful of series veterans, including Kelly Bensimon, have expressed support for her return to reality television.
“LITTLE MCCORDINATORS, WE WON,” enthused one fan. “I missed Alex. I’m so excited for this!!” added another.
Meanwhile, Rossi lost her ‘housewife’ status 10 years ago after ‘RHOC’ Season 8 ended airing. Some of the viewers seem impatient to see where she is today.
“Love Gretchen so much to see her again,” one person wrote.
And, of course, Grammer fans can’t wait to see her back on screen — and interact with notorious nemesis Glanville.
“Ahh can’t wait to see Brandi and Camille get into it,” one fan said.
Last month, Glanville teased Page Six that “Real Housewives” fans would soon be seeing more of her — and mentioned that she, too, missed having an on-screen bickering with Grammer. The two women last appeared on “RHOBH” as guests on Season 10 of 2020.
“A lot of good things are happening in my life and I owe a lot of thanks to Mr. [Andy] Cohen,” she told us during an episode of our “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
“I like the idea of doing a ‘Legacy Beverly Hills.’ Let’s get Adrienne Maloof and Camille back, so I can yell at her — even though I feel bad for what she’s going through because her mother just died,” Glanville continued.
“We don’t like each other, but obviously I don’t wish that on anyone. But…let’s start again, have fun.
Season 4 of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” is set to air later this year.
