Glassdoor says 41 tech companies made the 2023 list of the 100 Best Workplaces for several reasons, including a focus on improved pay and benefits, diversity, equity and inclusion, and flexible working hours/good work-life balance.

Glassdoor this week unveiled its annual list of the 100 best places to work for large companies based in the United States. Several big tech giants made the cut, including a brand new addition to the roster that landed the top spot.

Glassdoor, a website that allows current and former employees to anonymously rate companies, uses at least 75 ratings on nine workplace attributes of U.S.-based employees at companies with at least 1,000 employees like requirements for its annual list. The nine workplace attributes that are assessed are Career Opportunity, Compensation and Benefits, Culture and Values, Diversity and Inclusion, Senior Leadership, Work-Life Balance, Commendation a friend, the six-month business outlook and overall company rating.

This year’s top 10 tech players included a few mainstays, such as Nvidia and LinkedIn. But it also included a few newcomers. Software company Gainsight and security player CrowdStrike have joined the fray. And in the 15 years since Glassdoor has published its list, only one tech company has made a difference every year: Google.
