After Georgia beat TCU, 65-7 in the national title game, the latest Associated Press college football poll has been released.
Alabama (11-2) finished the 2022 season at the same place it entered the playoffs. The Crimson Tide finished No. 5 between Ohio State and Tennessee. The only change in the top 5 was the switch of places between TCU and Michigan as the Horned Frogs finished No. 2.
According to collegepolltracker.com, the Crimson Tide was ranked as high as #2 on four ballots and as low as #7 on four ballots.
Kansas State (10-4) fell three spots to No. 15 after losing to Alabama, 45-20 in the Sugar Bowl. It was one of three wins over ranked teams for the Crimson Tide as Mississippi State was No. 20 and Texas was No. 25.
