Kelly Doddthe husband of, Rick Leventhalis in the ER after being involved in a nasty car crash — apparently related to the severe SoCal storms — and he says he’s lucky he wasn’t dead.
The ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ alum just released video of her husband’s accident and she tells TMZ…Rick was driving his white Mercedes-Benz S-Class in Palm Desert, Calif. on Tuesday when the crash happened on a wet and slippery road. highway.

Kelly says Rick suffered broken ribs and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. We are told the car was destroyed, but Rick will be fine.
Kelly is asking for prayers on social media, and they’ve already canceled their Wednesday podcast episode for “The Rick & Kelly Show!”
Rick commented on Kelly’s post saying…”Honestly lucky to be alive. Scariest times of my life. Makes everything that much more meaningful ❤️.”
California is still being hammered by a severe winter storm that’s causing evacuations, deaths, and tons of trouble across the state, and it looks like rain played a part in Rick’s crash.
Kelly wasn’t with Rick at the time of the accident… she’s on a trip to Aspen.
